Centre For Valuation Studies (CVS)

GLF Business School is the first B-School in India that offers courses on Valuation since 2016 embrace all three asset classes: Real Estate, Plant & Machinery, and Business Valuation. Centre for Valuation Studies (CVS) at GLFBS was inaugurated by Dr. M S Sahoo, Chairman IBBI, Government of India in a ceremonial event held on 9th June 2018 at GLF Business School, Kolkata. The objective of the Centre is to act as a competency and capability centre in the Valuation Studies for all classes of assets to meet the need of time. The Centre of Excellence is aimed at providing research, support, guidance, training and oversight to the peer professional groups and students, Registered Valuer Organizations (RVOs), and industry to build leadership in the valuation profession under different asset categories.

Technology Innovation, Skill & Entrepreneurship Centre (TISEC)

GLF Business School focuses on the backward integration of R&D by developing a state–of–the–art Research & Technology Innovation Centre as well as a forward integration for the potential entrepreneurs by incubation centre affiliated to MoMSME, Govt of India. GLFBS is a member institute of FITT-IIT Delhi and an enabler of Startup India. Along with the common facilities for research, production, and marketing; the innovators and start-up MSMEs are given opportunity to leverage from emerging technologies such as 3D Printing Technology, Smart Sensors, IoT, AI & Robotics, Biotechnology, and Data Science etc.
In 2020, GLF Business School Kolkata launched “Nation Ahead” Program which aims to be a catalyst of building a robust ecosystem placing academia at the centre of innovation and startups to accelerate regional economic growth through collaborations, cooperations and partnerships. Women Innovation Start-up Hub (WISH) is a platform of developing and implementing programs for promotion of entrepreneurship and incubating women owned start-ups across India. WISH mission is to create its own micro-ecosystem at different places across India and provide a platform for women start-ups that can solve the local problems using breakthrough technologies. This platform would contribute to job creation, and enhancing the socio-economic health to the region. While innovation can provide a smooth route to create opportunity for women, there is a very less presence of women-led start-ups in India. WISH aims to stimulate the establishments for the growth of technology-based start-ups and other compatible businesses that are women owned. WISH tends to facilitate the micro eco-system at different locations for technology-driven start-ups.
